Delta First Lady Distributes Inputs and Grants to 400 Farmers Under Renewed Hope Agricultural Programme

As part of the national Renewed Hope Agricultural Support Programme, 400 Delta State farmers have received farm inputs and financial grants to boost productivity and resilience. The initiative was championed by First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and delivered on her behalf by Delta First Lady, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, in collaboration with the You Matter Charity Foundation.
Represented by Mrs. Catherine Onyeme, wife of the Deputy Governor, Deaconess Oborevwori emphasized the importance of agricultural empowerment for food security, job creation, and community well-being. The distribution also spotlighted the “Every Home a Garden” initiative, promoting home-grown nutrition and household self-sufficiency.
The initiative aligns with national efforts to support rural economies and advance inclusive development, reaffirming the Federal Government’s commitment to smallholder farmers and grassroots transformation.
