Renewed Hope Initiative Empowers 400 Delta Farmers with Inputs and Grants
In line with the national drive for food security and economic empowerment, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), led by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has empowered 400 farmers in Delta State with agricultural inputs and financial grants under its Agricultural Support Program.
Representing the Nigerian First Lady at the event in Asaba, Delta First Lady Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, through the wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Catherine Onyeme, emphasized that agriculture remains a key pillar for poverty alleviation and household nutrition. The event was held in partnership with the You Matter Charity Foundation.
Highlighting initiatives such as “Every Home a Garden,” the RHI aims to promote sustainable farming practices, increase rural incomes, and boost local food production. Beneficiaries were urged to maximize the opportunity and become agents of change in their communities.
This strategic partnership reflects the Renewed Hope Agenda’s commitment to inclusive economic growth, especially through the empowerment of farmers and rural households across Nigeria.
