Deputy Governor Jatau Emphasizes Oversight as NEC Commends Gombe’s Development Milestones
Gombe State’s commitment to transparency and impact-driven governance received national commendation as the National Economic Council (NEC) verification team applauded the state’s implementation of critical development projects. Leading the charge, Deputy Governor Dr. Manasseh Daniel Jatau stressed the importance of continuous monitoring in sustaining these gains.
During the visit, Dr. Jatau outlined the government’s developmental strides since 2019, including the renovation of hospitals across senatorial zones, establishment of mega schools, creation of an industrial park, and key road infrastructure projects. He affirmed that monitoring ensures accountability and strengthens delivery.
The NEC team, led by Alhaji Bala Musa Giade, praised Gombe State for exceeding expectations in project execution. He highlighted the state’s alignment with national goals and efficient resource use as a model for others. The visit reinforces the success of Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s people-centered, performance-driven leadership.
