Nasarawa Health Ministry Endorses Zumunta USA Medical Outreach, Strengthens Diaspora Collaboration
The Nasarawa State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to robust health partnerships as the Ministry of Health pledged full support for the Zumunta Association USA ahead of its upcoming national convention in the state. This assurance was given by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Gaza Gwamna, during a courtesy visit by a high-level delegation of the association led by its President, Mr. Sunday Bitrus.
The Commissioner described the association’s planned free medical outreach at the General Hospital in Gudi as a timely intervention and praised the group’s community-driven vision. He expressed confidence that the initiative would complement ongoing health reforms under the administration of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule.
Dr. Gwamna commended Zumunta Association USA for leveraging its diaspora strength to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of citizens in Nasarawa. He assured that the Ministry would offer all necessary technical and logistical support to ensure the success of the outreach and the overall convention.
