APC to Refund Registration Fees as Governor Sule Launches Zonal Rallies

In a significant move to support its aspirants, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced plans to refund the registration fees of five million naira for chairmanship candidates and one and a half million naira for councillorship candidates in the upcoming local government elections scheduled for November 2. This announcement was made by Governor Abdullahi Sule during the launch of the party’s zonal rallies in Keffi and Akwanga. The Governor emphasized the importance of inclusivity, highlighting that the party has made strides in promoting women’s participation in politics, with at least 13 women set to contest as councillorship candidates. Governor Sule called on APC members to rally behind the party’s candidates, urging them to avoid complacency, especially in light of the challenges faced by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He expressed confidence in the party’s potential for victory and called for unity among party members to ensure a successful election. The rallies included the introduction of candidates and the presentation of party flags, underscoring the APC’s commitment to a collaborative and successful electoral process.
