In a powerful homecoming event at Township Stadium, Vandeikya, Governor Hyacinth Alia presented his mid-term report, outlining his administration’s bold achievements and reaffirming his commitment to securing and transforming Benue State. Before a massive crowd, he expressed heartfelt gratitude and called for unity against persistent insecurity, especially brutal attacks by armed herders.
Governor Alia led a solemn tribute to victims of violence and applauded the Federal Government’s deployment of additional security forces. He urged citizens to be vigilant, emphasizing the critical role of local intelligence in combating insecurity. His rallying call to Tiv, Idoma, Igede, Etulo, and others was clear: “Let us rise as one voice to defend our land and our future.”
