Commissioner Optimistic about Governor Nwifuru’s Victory for Ebonyi State’s Growth

Mrs. Ngozi Obichukwu, Ebonyi State’s Commissioner for Aviation and Transport Technology, expressed her confidence that Governor Francis Nwifuru’s victory at the Appeal Court would pave the way for unprecedented economic growth and a transformative shift from inadequate governance to exemplary leadership in the state.

Following an inspection of the Chuba Okadigbo International Airport runway’s ongoing rehabilitation in Onueke, Ezza South LGA, Obichukwu announced, “The rehabilitation work at the Chuba Okadigbo International Airport runway is underway, with the installation of the Asphalt plant almost completed by the contractor, IDC. We commend the governor’s dedication to ensuring the timely completion of this project.”

During the inspection, conducted alongside members of the Tender Board of Directors, Obichukwu underscored that Governor Nwifuru’s victory would further bolster and expand the strides made in developmental initiatives across Ebonyi State.

She highlighted, “Governor Francis Nwifuru’s overwhelming victory at the Appeal Court reflects the trust and confidence the people of Ebonyi have in his visionary and progressive leadership. Within just five months, under his dynamic leadership, Ebonyi State has seen advancements in aviation and transport technology, education, healthcare, infrastructure, rural development, sports, and security.”

Obichukwu commended the governor for addressing salary arrears at the Chuba Okadigbo International Airport, paying retiree gratuities, and increasing civil servant salaries to mitigate the effects of subsidy removal. She concluded, “This victory in the Appeal Court provides Governor Nwifuru with an opportunity to fortify and expand the progress achieved during his rapid developmental drive across the state.”
