Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has described his relationship with Deputy Governor Comrade Yakubu Garba as “perfect and harmonious,” emphasizing their shared commitment to transforming the state.
Speaking to journalists after the 2025 Workers’ Day celebration in Minna, Governor Bago debunked insinuations of discord and reaffirmed that both leaders are working in unity to achieve the “New Niger” vision. “We are a team—they can’t break us. Our focus is on the goal, and we will achieve it,” he declared.
The Farmer Governor urged citizens to sustain their support for the administration’s people-centered policies, assuring that the state remains on the path to inclusive development and progress.
