First Lady Salutes Cross River Workers, Applauds Governor Otu’s Commitment to Labour Welfare
In a heartfelt message to commemorate Labour Day, the First Lady of Cross River State, Bishop Dr. (Mrs.) Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, has celebrated the industrious and resilient workforce of the state, while commending Governor Bassey Otu’s unwavering dedication to promoting worker welfare and dignity.
“Our workers are the unsung heroes whose daily sacrifices drive the progress of every sector in our dear state,” she said. “Your tireless efforts and unrelenting dedication continually fuel the engine of transformation that is turning Cross River into an enviable beacon of hope and development.”
She acknowledged her husband, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, for prioritizing fairness, opportunity, and the well-being of workers through people-centric policies aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“As we step into a new month, I extend heartfelt gratitude to all friends, stakeholders, and supporters of our administration. Your love and unity continue to inspire and strengthen our resolve,” she added.
