Gombe Governor Condoles Emir of Gona, Akko Community Over Dan Malikin’s Death
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has extended condolences to the Emir of Gona, HRH Alh. Umar Abdulkadir Abdulsalam II, and the Akko community following the tragic death of Dan Malikin Gona, Alhaji Aliyu Jalo Akko, who passed away in a car accident. Describing the loss as painful, the governor commended the deceased’s contributions to the development of the state and prayed for Allah’s mercy upon his soul. Governor Yahaya also mourned the passing of Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Waziri, a former Deputy Vice Chancellor of Gombe State University, calling him a distinguished scholar whose legacy will endure in the academic community.
