Gombe’s Industrial Giant: Inuwa Yahaya’s N60bn Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park Poised to Employ 250,000

The Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park in Gombe State has already attracted over N60 billion in investments and is projected to double that figure by the time it becomes fully operational in late 2025. This transformative initiative, driven by the Inuwa Yahaya administration, is set to reshape the industrial and economic landscape of Northern Nigeria.
Spanning over 1,000 hectares—333 of which are already fully developed—the park is equipped with 42km of internal road networks, a 132kV dedicated power line with 16MW capacity, plans for a 150MW solar plant, and water infrastructure capable of supplying 1.5 million liters daily. Housing, schools, healthcare, and recreational facilities are also planned to support workers and investors.
With 12 companies already building or operating and over 400 applications received, the park promises to create over 250,000 jobs, offer tax-free incentives, and drive inclusive economic growth. Governor Yahaya recently approved an additional N5.5 billion to complete remaining infrastructure, underscoring his commitment to industrialization and sustainable development.
