Gov. Oyebanji Reaffirms Commitment to Inclusive Community Development

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has restated his administration’s focus on grassroots development, pledging that no community will be left behind in the state’s ongoing transformation. He made the assurance while receiving a delegation from Okemesi Ekiti, led by former Attorney General, Barr. Olawale Fapounda (SAN), who visited to express gratitude for projects executed in their town.
Governor Oyebanji listed upcoming projects for the community, including the construction of the Okemesi–Ido Ile road, electricity reconnection, and water tank rehabilitation. He acknowledged the importance of such appreciation, stating, “We are happy that the little we are doing is connecting with the people. This encourages us to do more.”
Earlier, Barr. Fapounda thanked the governor for numerous completed interventions, such as the Okemesi–Itawure road, hospital renovation, and electrification efforts, describing them as unprecedented. He pledged continued community support for the Oyebanji administration beyond 2026. The governor was joined by top government officials including the Chief of Staff, Commissioner for Information, and Special Advisers, further demonstrating a united front for grassroots transformation in Ekiti.
