Governor AbdulRazaq Names Olupo of Ajase-Ipo as Kwara’s Amirul Hajj for 2025
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has appointed the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Yahya Alebiosu, as the Amirul Hajj for the state’s 2025 pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
Oba Alebiosu, who also serves as the Chancellor of the Kwara State University of Education, will lead the state delegation, ensuring a smooth, well-organized, and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage for Kwara’s Muslim faithful.
In addition, Governor AbdulRazaq has made key appointments to strengthen governance:
• Alhaji Lateef Oloyin has been named Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the Governor. A seasoned boardroom executive, community leader, and grassroots politician, Oloyin previously served as Chairman of the Kwara State Social Investment Programme.
• Professor Sheu Raheem Adaramaja has been reappointed as Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB). Under his leadership, the state’s education sector has witnessed significant reforms and infrastructural improvements since 2019.
These appointments reaffirm Governor AbdulRazaq’s commitment to experienced leadership and continuity in key governance areas.
