Governor AbdulRazaq’s Agricultural Transformation Delivers Significant Gains for Kwara Rice Farmers
In a powerful testament to the agricultural revolution spearheaded by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, rice farmers in Dukulade, Patigi Local Government Area, are witnessing tangible benefits from the Kwara State Government’s 2024 farm inputs intervention program. This initiative, designed to empower farmers and promote year-round farming, is part of the governor’s broader vision of agricultural transformation aimed at boosting food security and creating economic opportunities across the state.
A total of 70 farmers from the Dukulade Rice Cluster have benefitted from the distribution of essential fertilizers, including NPK and Urea, provided at the local government level. The intervention is part of the state’s larger agricultural agenda, which includes over 100 farm clusters covering vast hectares of land. The Dukulade Cluster, with over 800 hectares, is one of the many examples of the government’s commitment to improving agricultural productivity.
