Governor Ahmed Aliyu Silences Doubters with Outstanding Leadership and Development Strides
The Senator representing Sokoto Central Senatorial District, Alhaji Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has lauded the remarkable achievements of Governor Ahmed Aliyu, declaring that his performance in office has decisively silenced all skeptics and critics. Speaking at the inauguration of the newly renovated and expanded Hassan Dan Mu’azu Jumu’at Mosque in Runjin Sambo—a project executed by the state government—Senator Wamakko described the governor’s tenure as transformative and visionary.
Reflecting on pre-election sentiments, Wamakko acknowledged that some had doubted the governor’s capacity and popularity. However, he affirmed that Governor Aliyu’s leadership has proven that results, not rhetoric, are what count. “Those who doubted him have now seen that with faith, vision, and commitment, Governor Ahmed Aliyu is truly a blessing to Sokoto State,” Wamakko declared.
In his remarks, delivered through his Deputy, Alhaji Idris Mohammed Gobir, Governor Ahmed Aliyu emphasized the spiritual and social importance of supporting religious and community projects. He reiterated his administration’s readiness to invest in noble causes, stressing that no amount of money spent on the propagation of Islam is too much. He thanked the people of Sokoto for their unwavering support and prayers, assuring them of more impactful initiatives ahead.
