Governor Aiyedatiwa Appoints SSG, Commissioners, And Special Advisers
Barely hours after his inauguration, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has made key appointments to ensure the swift implementation of his administration’s development agenda.
The Governor has appointed Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG). Dr. Fasoranti, a seasoned technocrat and former Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board, hails from Akure South Local Government Area.
Additionally, Governor Aiyedatiwa reappointed the following individuals:
• Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN – Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice
• Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac – Commissioner for Finance
The Governor also announced the appointment of Special Advisers:
1. Engr. Johnson Alabi – Power
2. Dr. Seun Osamaye – Women Affairs
3. Comrade Bola Taiwo – Union Matters & Special Duties
4. Prof. Simidele Odimayo – Health
5. Engr. Abiola Olawoye – Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing (elevated from Senior Special Assistant)
Governor Aiyedatiwa directed all appointees to immediately commence work, emphasizing that his administration is “in a hurry to deliver on its promises.”
These strategic appointments reflect the Governor’s commitment to assembling a competent and result-driven team to actualize his O’DATIWA O’ DIRORUN agenda.
