Governor Bago Mourns Former SSG Daniel Shashere, Describes Him as a Pillar of Public Service
The Secretary to the Government of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Usman, has conveyed the deep sorrow of the state government over the passing of former Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Daniel Clifford Shashere. In a condolence statement, Alhaji Usman hailed the late Shashere as a distinguished public servant and visionary leader.
Describing his death as a monumental loss, the SSG said Mr. Shashere brought distinction, integrity, and dedication to public service, particularly during his tenure as SSG, where he was known for his administrative acumen and inter-ministerial coordination. “He transformed the Office of the SSG into a model of efficiency and excellence,” Usman noted.
Beyond his official roles, Mr. Shashere was remembered as a compassionate humanitarian who consistently prioritized the welfare of civil servants and the general public. “His legacy will continue to inspire future generations of leaders,” the SSG stated, adding that the Niger State Government stands with the Shashere family in this moment of grief and will honour his legacy of integrity and service.
