…Donates Four Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security Efforts

In a strategic move to enhance security operations in Kebbi State, Governor Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has donated four Hilux vehicles to security agencies, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to ensuring safety and stability across the state.

Presenting the vehicles at the Government House on Wednesday, the governor, represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Government House, Alhaji Dairu Zaki, emphasized the importance of equipping security personnel with the necessary logistics to effectively carry out their duties.

“My administration is fully committed to providing the necessary support for security agencies. Your success in maintaining law and order is our collective success, and we will continue to work closely with you to ensure the safety of our people,” Governor Idris assured.

Of the four vehicles, three were allocated to the Nigerian Army, while the Mobile Police Force received one.

Receiving the vehicles on behalf of the Nigerian Army, Major A. P. Azubuine, Commanding Officer of the 1 Battalion, Dukku Barracks, Birnin Kebbi, commended the governor’s generosity, pledging that the vehicles would be put to optimal use. Similarly, ACP Aliyu Jega, Commanding Officer of Mopol 36, Birnin Kebbi, assured the state government that the newly acquired vehicle would enhance crime-fighting efforts in the state.

Governor Idris reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering support for security agencies, stressing that ensuring the safety of citizens remains a top priority.
