Governor Inuwa Yahaya Commends Tinubu’s Appointment of APC Chairman Amangal to Lake Chad Institute
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for appointing Mr. Nitte K. Amangal, Chairman of APC Gombe State, as the Chairman of the Board of the Lake Chad Research Institute, Maiduguri. The Governor described the appointment as both a national asset and a source of pride for the people of Gombe.
According to Governor Yahaya, Mr. Amangal’s appointment reflects his vast political experience, administrative competence, and loyalty to progressive ideals. He praised the President’s thoughtful decision, noting that Amangal’s leadership will breathe new life into agricultural research and development efforts in the Lake Chad region and beyond.
The Governor pledged full support from the Gombe State Government and reaffirmed confidence in Mr. Amangal’s capacity to deliver strategic direction at the Institute. “His leadership will advance the research institute’s critical role in driving innovation, food security, and sustainable livelihoods,” Governor Yahaya noted.
