Governor Inuwa Yahaya Mourns Justice Apollos, Celebrates a Life of Integrity and Service

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has expressed profound grief over the passing of retired High Court Judge, Justice Paul Idi Apollos, describing him as a pillar of justice and a cherished friend. The esteemed jurist passed away on Thursday in Gombe, leaving behind a legacy defined by discipline, fairness, and legal brilliance.
In a heartfelt tribute, Governor Yahaya lauded Justice Apollos for his distinguished career, which spanned decades from his early days at the Bar, through his appointment as Chief Registrar, to his tenure on the Bench. He noted that Apollos served with integrity and left a lasting impact on the judiciary. “His demise is a personal loss to me and a monumental loss to the legal community and our state,” the governor stated. The Governor extended his condolences to the bereaved family, the judiciary, and the Tangale community.
