Governor Inuwa Yahaya Mourns the Passing of Mrs. Monica Kamla
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mrs. Monica Adamu Kamla, describing her demise as a profound loss to her family and the state.
In a heartfelt condolence message, Governor Yahaya extended his sympathies to the bereaved family, particularly Barr. Moljengo M. Kaltungo, urging them to find solace in the cherished memories and lasting impact of the deceased.
“We mourn with the Kamla family during this difficult time. Mrs. Monica Adamu Kamla’s contributions to society and her unwavering dedication to service will be deeply missed. I pray that God grants the family the strength to bear this painful loss and grants her soul eternal rest,” the governor stated.
Until her passing, Mrs. Kamla was a dedicated staff member of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). She succumbed to a prolonged illness, leaving behind a legacy of service and commitment.
Her funeral is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Gudu Cemetery, Garki, Abuja.
Governor Yahaya joined family, friends, and well-wishers in mourning her passing, offering prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul.
