Governor Namadi Leads Funeral Prayers for Late Mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi
A solemn crowd gathered at the Kafin Hausa Central Mosque to offer funeral prayers for Hajiya Maryam Namadi, the late mother of Governor Mallam Umar Namadi.
The 90-year-old matriarch, who passed away after a brief illness, was laid to rest at the Kafin Hausa cemetery. Family members, friends, and dignitaries from across the country paid their respects, honoring her legacy of kindness, humility, and dedication to family and community.
Among the dignitaries present were Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, Jigawa Deputy Governor Engineer Aminu Usman, Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, and the Emirs of Dutse, Hadejia, and Machina.
Governor Namadi expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, praying that Allah grants his mother eternal peace in Jannah and gives the family the strength to bear the loss.
