Governor Namadi Welcomes Development Sovereign Group (DSG) Delegation to Boost Agricultural Transformation
Governor Malam Umar Namadi on Tuesday received a high-profile delegation from the Development Sovereign Group (DSG), who visited the state to support the ongoing agricultural transformation program.
The DSG delegation, led by Orion Lemma Hailemichael, Eleni Araya Tewodros, and Liuel Hizikias Ketema, engaged in strategic discussions with Jigawa State’s agricultural experts and embarked on an on-site tour of cluster farms and irrigation projects.
Governor Namadi reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to revolutionizing agriculture, highlighting Jigawa’s rich potential for agribusiness, food security, and economic diversification.
“We welcome this partnership as it aligns with our mission to drive sustainable agricultural development, empower farmers, and enhance food production in Jigawa State,” he stated.
The visit marks another step towards positioning Jigawa as an agricultural powerhouse, leveraging international expertise and investment to improve productivity and rural livelihoods.
