In a bold display of commitment and hands-on governance, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State braved the early morning downpour on Friday to inspect multiple strategic infrastructure projects across Warri, Ughelli, Burutu, and Isoko South LGAs. The inspection covered the Trans Warri/Ode Itsekiri Road, Ayakoromor Bridge, Olomoro/Igbide Road, and Sector C1 of the Ughelli/Asaba Expressway.
Governor Oborevwori expressed satisfaction with Setraco Nigeria Ltd’s performance on the Trans Warri/Ode Itsekiri Road, praising the contractor for maintaining high construction standards. However, he voiced concerns about the slow progress at the Ayakoromor Bridge site and directed key stakeholders to appear in his office next week for a follow-up engagement aimed at accelerating delivery.
