Governor Ododo Hails Quality of Road Project, Commends Contractor’s Commitment to Excellence

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on May 4, 2025, conducted an on-the-spot inspection of the ongoing 8.6-kilometre Ogaminana-Obangede-Okaito Road project. Expressing satisfaction with the pace and standard of work, the governor described the project as a critical infrastructure that will ease transportation and stimulate economic activities across communities in the region.

Impressed by the use of local content and technical precision, Governor Ododo applauded TEC Engineering for their professionalism and value-driven execution. “As an auditor, I can see value for money. The quality is commendable, but I urge the contractor to increase the pace of execution to meet our delivery targets,” he stated. The governor also acknowledged the foresight of former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for initiating the project and extended appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his continued support to the state.

Speaking during the visit, TEC Engineering’s representative, Engr. Ho Frank, thanked the state government for the fruitful partnership and pledged to intensify efforts to ensure timely and thorough project completion. Once completed, the road is expected to enhance regional connectivity, boost local trade, and improve residents’ quality of life—underscoring Governor Ododo’s strategic commitment to sustainable infrastructure development in Kogi State.
