In Ekiti State, it is nearly impossible not to admire the leadership style of Governor Biodun Oyebanji. His remarkable ability to relate to and connect with the people stands out as a defining trait of his administration.

A recent example of this was his unexpected visit to the popular indigenous mess at Enu Odi, Odo Ado, after inspecting the Ekiti Cargo Airport facility. While some might question the relevance of such visits, for Governor Oyebanji, this act underscores his authenticity, accessibility, and unwavering commitment to his campaign promises. These were the same places he visited during his 2022 election campaign, where he engaged with the grassroots, listened to their concerns, and canvassed for their votes. His return to these communities is a reaffirmation of his promise to remain connected to the people and govern with their interests at heart.

This gesture did not go unnoticed. Baba QC, a respected member of the APC Elders Forum, commended the governor for his “Omoluabi” leadership style, highlighting how no previous administration in Ekiti has engaged with the people in such an indigenous and inclusive manner.

Baba QC further praised Governor Oyebanji’s numerous developmental strides, emphasizing that his achievements speak for themselves. He assured that residents remain fully committed to supporting his re-election in 2026, citing his focus on governance over political distractions and his dedication to the genuine progress of the state.

Governor Oyebanji’s leadership is proving to be a refreshing model of governance, where accessibility, transparency, and people-centered policies define his administration’s approach to leadership.
