Ekiti State’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) has surged from N650 million to an impressive N2 billion per month, a testament to the strategic reforms and developmental strides of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration.

The Executive Chairman of the Ekiti State Internal Revenue Service (EKIRS), Mr. Olaniran Olatona, attributed this remarkable growth to improved operational efficiency within the revenue service and the increasing public confidence in the government’s economic policies.

Governor Oyebanji’s emphasis on digital transformation, tax reforms, and infrastructural development has significantly enhanced revenue generation, positioning Ekiti State as a model for sustainable fiscal growth.

With these gains, the government is better equipped to fund key projects that will drive economic prosperity and improve the quality of life for all residents.
