Governor Radda Calls for Unity and Patriotism as Nigeria Marks 64 Years of Independence
As Nigeria celebrates its 64th Independence Anniversary, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, has called on all Nigerians, particularly the people of Katsina State, to embrace patriotism and unity as the foundation for a prosperous nation. In his heartfelt Independence Day message, Governor Radda reflected on Nigeria’s journey, highlighting the strength derived from the nation’s diversity and resilience.
“We celebrate not just our freedom, but the indomitable spirit that has seen us overcome challenges and achieve great milestones. As we mark this day, let us renew our commitment to the ideals of our founding fathers and the vision of a greater Nigeria,” Governor Radda stated.
Focusing on Katsina State’s progress, the Governor reiterated the importance of his administration’s “Building Your Future” agenda, which prioritizes education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and security. “We are proud of the strides we have made in expanding access to quality education, improving healthcare, creating jobs through agricultural and industrial initiatives, and strengthening security for all our citizens.”
Governor Radda urged the people of Katsina to embrace the spirit of patriotism and cooperation. “Our strength lies in our unity.
