Governor Radda Hails Katsina Citizens, Commits to Greater Development After President Tinubu’s Historic Visit

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed profound gratitude to the people of Katsina for the warm and overwhelming reception they gave to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his historic two-day working visit to the state. The massive turnout and exemplary hospitality, Governor Radda noted, played a significant role in the success of the President’s engagements.
During the visit, President Tinubu commissioned two major infrastructure projects: the 24-kilometre Eastern Bypass and the state-of-the-art Agricultural Mechanization Centre. These projects, Governor Radda assured, are only the beginning of a series of people-oriented initiatives set to be unveiled across the state. “Our people have shown unity and a shared commitment to progress. This sends a strong signal of Katsina’s readiness to partner with the Federal Government for rapid development,” he stated.
Governor Radda also extended heartfelt appreciation to President Tinubu for honouring his family by standing as Waliyi at his daughter Aisha’s wedding to Ahmed Usman. He praised the President’s gesture as deeply meaningful and reflective of enduring friendship. The governor also thanked fellow governors, ministers, national assembly members, and distinguished guests who attended the ceremony and reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to uplifting the lives of all residents of Katsina State.
