Governor Radda Urges Muslims to Pray for Peace, Unity, and Prosperity During Ramadan
As the holy month of Ramadan 1446AH begins, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, has extended warm Ramadan greetings to the Muslim Ummah, urging them to embrace the sacred period with increased devotion, self-reflection, and acts of charity
Governor Radda reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting vulnerable citizens, announcing the launch of Food Support Program 2.0, a continuation of last year’s successful Ramadan initiative.
“We have put measures in place to sustain our food support program, ensuring that vulnerable citizens across the state receive assistance to observe their fasting with dignity,” the governor stated.
He further emphasized the importance of communal solidarity and generosity, encouraging citizens to use this period to pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in Katsina State and Nigeria as a whole.
“May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds during this blessed month, and may He grant us the strength to fulfill our obligations in ways that please Him,” Governor Radda concluded.
