Governor Sule Engages Afo Stakeholders and Security Chiefs to Resolve Intra-Ethnic Crisis
The Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, has convened a crucial meeting with Afo stakeholders and security chiefs to address the ongoing intra-ethnic crisis in Afo communities, Nasarawa Local Government Area.
The meeting, held on Monday, focused on finding sustainable solutions to restore peace in the affected communities. At the end of the deliberations, Governor Sule announced the appointment of an interim Administrator, alongside four additional officials, to oversee the Udege Administrative Unit.
The Governor emphasized that this decision is part of his administration’s commitment to fostering lasting peace and stability in the region. He assured the stakeholders that the government remains fully engaged in resolving disputes and ensuring harmony among the people.
