Governor Umaru Bago and Speaker Tajudeen Abbas Seek Blessings and Guidance from Gen. Ibrahim Babangida
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, popularly known as the “Farmer Governor,” led a high-profile delegation on a courtesy visit to Nigeria’s former military president, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, at his Uphill Residence in Minna.
The visit, which included the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, Niger State Deputy Governor Comrade Yakubu Garba, and Members of the Federal House of Representatives from the state, was aimed at seeking blessings and fatherly counsel from the esteemed elder statesman.
Governor Bago, alongside Speaker Abbas, expressed their gratitude to Gen. Babangida for his invaluable guidance and support, which they both acknowledged had played a key role in shaping their leadership styles and commitment to public service.
