Governor Umaru Bago Mourns the Passing of Magajin Gatan Nupe

Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Magajin Gatan Nupe, Alh. Ahmed Ndaman, father of his Director-General, Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAMP), Alh. Nma Abubakar Ahmed.

In a condolence message delivered by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago extended heartfelt condolences to the Etsu Nupe, Alh. Yahaya Abubakar, the DG RAMP, and the entire Bida Emirate over the loss.

Describing the late Magajin Gatan Nupe as a pillar of wisdom and traditional leadership, Governor Bago acknowledged his remarkable contributions to Niger State’s growth and the preservation of its cultural heritage.

“The passing of Alh. Ahmed Ndaman is a great loss not only to Bida Emirate but to the entire state. His legacy of leadership, kindness, and service to humanity will continue to inspire generations to come,” the Governor stated.

He urged the Etsu Nupe, the bereaved family, and all well-wishers to take solace in the noble life he lived, praying that Allah grants him Aljannah Firdausi and provides comfort to those mourning his loss.
