In a move that underscores fairness and community inclusion, the Katsina State Government has disbursed over ₦274 million in compensation to 241 landowners in Gidan Na-Banje, Kafur LGA, for the establishment of a Federal College of Agriculture. The payment was made in full before the commencement of the project in accordance with Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s compensation-first policy.
The Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning, Dr. Faisal Umar Kaita, announced the development during a formal cheque presentation ceremony. He acknowledged the instrumental role of Presidential Political Adviser, Alhaji Ibrahim Masari, in facilitating the project’s siting—commending his unwavering dedication to community advancement.
