Kebbi Remains Strongly APC Under Governor Idris’ Dynamic Leadership – Party Dismisses Defection Rumours
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has reaffirmed its unity and strength under the leadership of Governor Nasir Idris, dismissing recent social media rumours of defection as baseless misinformation.
Speaking during an APC stakeholders’ meeting attended by Governor Idris, his deputy, former Governor Sa’idu Dakingari, and the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, APC State Chairman Abubakar Muhammad Kana lauded the governor’s excellent performance and reiterated the party’s full support for his leadership.
Kana praised the administration’s achievements across key sectors, noting that the people of Kebbi are witnessing real progress under Governor Idris’ stewardship.
Governor Idris, in his remarks, dismissed the rumours as deliberate attempts to distract from the state’s developmental strides. He reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and declared Kebbi a stronghold of the party.
“Kebbi is and will remain an APC state. Our people are seeing the dividends of democracy under President Bola Tinubu and our own administration, and we are committed to sustaining this progress,” the governor affirmed.
This unified stance underscores the confidence and stability within the APC in Kebbi, reflecting the effective leadership and vision of Governor Idris.
