Kogi State Civil Service Undergoes Rebranding for Enhanced Service Delivery

…Unveils Vision and Mission Statements for Transparent and Efficient Governance
In a move to modernize and enhance service delivery, the Kogi State Head of Civil Service, Dr. Elijah A. Evinemi, has unveiled a new vision and mission statement aimed at repositioning the state’s civil service as a model of efficiency, accountability, and excellence.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Evinemi emphasized the importance of having a clearly defined roadmap to guide the civil service in driving government programs and policies effectively.
“An organization without a vision is like a driver without a map. To foster continuous improvement, enhance service delivery, and boost public trust, we must establish a clear direction aligned with global best practices,” he stated.
Vision Statement:
“To be a beacon of good governance, inspiring public trust and fostering continuous improvement in service delivery.”
Mission Statement:
“To transform Kogi State’s civil service into an accountable, innovative workforce dedicated to excellence, integrity, and effective public service for sustainable development.”
The unveiling of these statements marks a significant step in the ongoing reforms aimed at improving governance structures, promoting transparency, and ensuring that public servants are equipped to meet modern administrative challenges.
Dr. Evinemi noted that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration is committed to ensuring that the civil service operates efficiently and effectively in delivering its mandate. He called on all civil servants to embrace the new direction, emphasizing that a professional and well-structured workforce is critical to achieving sustainable development in Kogi State.
With this initiative, the Kogi State Government is setting a new standard for governance, reinforcing its commitment to service excellence, and ensuring that policies and programs yield tangible benefits for citizens.
