Kwara Government Approves Dedicated Power Transformer for Fire Service Station

In a significant move to enhance emergency response efficiency, the Kwara State Government has approved the immediate installation of a newly procured dedicated power transformer for the Kwara State Fire Service Station at Wahab Folawiyo Road, Ilorin.
Receiving the transformer at the Ministry of Energy, Commissioner for Energy, Engr. AbdulAzeez Kola AbdulGaniy, stated that the 100KV transformer is exclusively designated for the fire service station to provide an uninterrupted power supply, thereby creating an enabling environment for emergency responders to operate efficiently.
Commending Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for prioritizing workers’ welfare, Director of Personnel, Finance, and Supply, Alhaji Hassan Taiye Afodun, assured citizens that the government remains committed to addressing infrastructural needs across all sectors.
The Acting Director of Electrical Engineering, Engr. Fisayo Dada, confirmed that the transformer has been tested and certified for immediate installation, ensuring seamless power supply to the fire service station.
The initiative reinforces Governor AbdulRazaq’s commitment to strengthening Kwara’s emergency response infrastructure, ensuring better service delivery for public safety.
