Kwara Pilgrimage Efforts Advance as Second Batch of 415 Pilgrims Depart for Hajj

Kwara State continues its seamless Hajj 2025 operations as another batch of 415 intending pilgrims departed for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this afternoon. This second phase of the state’s pilgrimage program brings the total number of pilgrims already airlifted to 975, underscoring the government’s robust coordination and spiritual investment in its citizens.
Addressing the pilgrims before departure, the State Amirul-Hajj and Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Barrister Ismail Bolaji Yahaya Muhammed Atoloye Alebiosu, urged them to be exemplary ambassadors of Kwara State. He praised the pilgrims’ discipline and commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the comprehensive support systems provided to ensure the comfort, safety, and spiritual success of all participants.
The Special Adviser on Religion (Islamic Affairs), Alhaji Ibrahim Dan-Maigoro, led the second batch aboard Max Airline, which departed from the Babatunde Idi-Agbon International Airport, Ilorin, at 1:20 pm. The smooth execution of the Hajj operations once again reflects the Governor’s commitment to inclusive governance and religious harmony in Kwara State.
