Lagos Commissioner Launches Foundation and Medical Outreach for Residents

Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade, and Investment, Mrs. Folashade Kaosarat Ambrose, has launched the Folashade Ambrose Foundation (FAF) and inaugurated a community outreach program titled “My Health, My Prosperity” to promote health and entrepreneurship in Lagos Island.
The initiative integrates free medical services, health education, and skill acquisition programs to improve residents’ well-being and economic stability. Speaking at the event, Mrs. Ambrose emphasized the importance of collaboration and data-driven strategies to address community needs while aligning with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Development Agenda.
The outreach connected residents with State Government Skill Acquisition Centers, offering training in areas such as tailoring, catering, IT, and photography. Leaders, including GAC Chairman Alhaji Tajudeen Olusi and representatives of the Oba of Lagos, commended the Commissioner for her impactful efforts and urged beneficiaries to seize the opportunities provided.
