Lagos Health Service Commission Commends Gbajabiamila for His Impact on Health Sector

The Lagos State Health Service Commission has expressed its heartfelt appreciation to Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila for his significant contributions to the development of the health sector in Lagos. This commendation was made during a recent visit by Commission members to the Femi Gbajabiamila General Hospital in Iyun, Surulere.
Dr. (Mrs.) Atinuke Onayiga, the Chairman of the Commission, praised Hon. Gbajabiamila for constructing high-standard hospital facilities and donating them to the state government. Her acknowledgment highlighted the importance of these facilities in assisting the government to achieve its health objectives.
Moreover, Dr. Onayiga commended the efforts to equip the hospital with essential medical equipment, transforming it into a first-class facility available to all patients, regardless of their state of origin. She emphasized that the primary purpose of this inaugural visit was to ensure quality service delivery and prepare the facility for accreditation by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCAN).
The Medical Director/CEO of Randle General Hospital, Dr. Olumide Sojinrin, who also oversees both the MCC Gbaja and Gbajabiamila General Hospital, expressed gratitude for the visit and assured improvements in quality service delivery across all hospitals.
Accompanying Dr. Onayiga on this visit were notable members of the Commission, including Dr. Olumuyiwa Adetokunbo Solanke, Commissioner I, Dr. Mobolaji Ayotunde Olukoya, Commissioner II, and the Director of Administration and Human Resources, Ms. Folashade Owoade, among others. Together, they reiterated their commitment to enhancing healthcare services in Lagos State.
