Lagos State Civil Service Commission Hosts Summit for Unified Public Service

The Lagos State Civil Service Commission (CSC) hosted the third edition of its Commissions Summit, where Chairman Mrs. Olubunmi Fabamwo highlighted the critical need for standardization, synergy, and collaboration among Statutory Service Commissions and Boards. The summit, themed “Building a Sustainable and Resilient Public Service in the Face of Economic Realities,” aims to devise strategies that will enhance governance and service delivery in response to current economic challenges. Over the years, the summit has fostered initiatives and policy reforms that strengthen the state’s public service. Hon. Oladele Ajayi, Chairman of the Lagos Assembly Committee on Establishments, praised the summit’s potential to inform future public service policies, ensuring that Lagosians receive the quality services they expect. The event also featured discussions on innovative approaches to human resource governance, emphasizing social inclusion and employee wellness as vital components of a modern public service.
