As part of ongoing efforts to maintain urban order and prevent illegal structures, the Lagos State Lands Bureau has engaged residents of Egan-Akesan in Alimosho LGA to audit and regularize untitled properties within government residential schemes.

At a stakeholders’ meeting led by the Land Use and Allocation Committee (LUAC), Executive Secretary Dr. (Mrs.) Ololade Ajetumobi reaffirmed the government’s commitment to proper land administration, ensuring properties are legally titled to prevent financial losses and development setbacks.

“The Lagos State Government is dedicated to land reforms that transform untitled properties into valuable assets, promoting economic security for residents,” she stated.

Community members welcomed the initiative, commending the government’s transparent engagement and commitment to fostering orderly urban development.

This proactive approach underscores Governor Sanwo-Olu’s drive toward structured land management, reinforcing Lagos’ reputation for regulatory compliance and sustainable urban planning.
