LASG Enhances Security Operations with Solar Power Systems in 57 LGAs and Work Tools for Officers

The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has installed solar power systems across its 57 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) to ensure uninterrupted power supply for enhanced service delivery.
The newly installed solar systems will mitigate power disruptions often caused by vandalism, ensuring that LNSA officers operate efficiently at all times.
To further boost security operations, the agency also distributed modern work tools, including:
• Binoculars with night vision capabilities
• Flashlights
• Intelligence pen recorders
• Megaphones
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, LNSA General Manager, Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, urged officers to protect government-owned properties under their watch.
“Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, in line with the THEMES Plus Agenda, has shown unwavering commitment to safety and security. Your duty is to deliver world-class services to Lagosians and maintain the resources entrusted to you,” he said.
The investment in solar power and security tools underscores Governor Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to a safer Lagos, ensuring that LNSA officers are well-equipped to serve the public effectively.
