The Nasarawa State Government is set to partner with Ama-Davids Nigeria Limited and other private investors to develop a commercial city in Karshi, a project aimed at boosting economic growth, creating jobs, and attracting local and foreign investments.
Speaking on the initiative, Ama-Davids Nigeria Limited’s Managing Director, Mr. Ibrahim Arasah, described the Commercial City Standard Market as a first-of-its-kind business hub in Africa, integrating agriculture, textiles, furniture, and media enterprises.
“This project will transform Nasarawa State into a thriving commercial and industrial hub, attracting investors and fostering business expansion,” he stated.
Amb. David Oladeinde, CEO of Diamond House 67 Concept, described Nasarawa as Nigeria’s economic future, emphasizing the state’s vast mineral resources and untapped economic potential.
Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at the Nasarawa Investment and Development Agency (NASIDA), Mr. Abdullahi Salihu-Ari, commended the investors, assuring them of full government support to ensure the project’s success.
The Commercial City Project is expected to redefine Nasarawa’s business landscape, positioning the state as a leading destination for commerce and investment in Nigeria and the West African sub-region.
