Ondo State Issues 50MW Power Generation License to APSA
The Ondo State Electricity Regulatory Bureau (OSERB) has granted a 50MW Generation License to Advanced Power Station Abuja Ltd (APSA), making it an official Independent Power Producer (IPP) in the state.
This strategic move aims to boost electricity supply, attract private investment, and drive economic growth. APSA’s 50MW Gas Power Plant, located along the Akure-Owo corridor, is designed to provide reliable off-grid power to industries, businesses, and communities. The project also has an expansion plan to increase capacity to 100MW within two years, ensuring long-term sustainability.
