President Tinubu Leads National Leaders to Celebrate Governor Radda’s Family Wedding in Katsina

Katsina State witnessed a grand gathering of Nigeria’s most influential political, traditional, and business leaders as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu stood as Waliyi at the wedding of Aisha Dikko Umaru Radda, daughter of Governor Dikko Radda, to Ahmed Usman of the historic Daura Emirate. The event reflected national unity, cultural pride, and deep respect for the governor’s leadership.
The dignified ceremony featured the Chief Imam of Katsina Central Mosque, Malam Mustapha, leading the matrimonial rites, supported by prominent Islamic clerics. Former Bauchi Governor Isa Yuguda served as Wakili, receiving the bride on behalf of the groom’s family, while the wedding was sealed with a symbolic dowry of N700,000 in accordance with Islamic tradition.
Among the distinguished guests were Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin, APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, and over a dozen governors including Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Babagana Zulum (Borno), and Uba Sani (Kaduna). Also in attendance were ministers, top business figures such as Prince Arthur Eze and Dahiru Mangal, and royal fathers—the Emirs of Katsina and Daura—underscoring the strong ties Governor Radda has cultivated across sectors and regions.
