PRESS RELEASE: 59th Birthday Felicitation with HE Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia
The Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) joins HE Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, the Governor of Benue State, in celebrating his 59th birthday. We stand with the good people of Benue State and other well-meaning Nigerians to commemorate this special occasion with him and his family.
We celebrate His Excellency’s outstanding leadership, visionary approach, and unwavering dedication to building a united and prosperous Nigeria under the banner of our party, the APC. His remarkable contributions to our Progressive Governors’ team, demonstrated through strategic and resolute efforts in Benue State’s governance and at the national level, are widely acknowledged. His transformative initiatives as the Governor of Benue State spanning infrastructure development, welfare programs, combating insecurity, empowerment, agricultural growth, especially the renewed effort in resettling internally displaced person’s (IDPs) to their ancestral homes, education, healthcare, industrialization, and bold leadership to drive the state’s progress have set a new standard for leadership. He embodies true progressive and innovative governance.
As we rejoice with HE Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, we reaffirm our collective commitment to implementing programs that will strengthen the capacities of our Progressive States to create jobs, reduce inequality, and diminish poverty in Nigeria.
