Sanwo-Olu Reinforces Commitment to Quality Education
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to providing high-quality education for all residents. This commitment was highlighted during the grand finale of the annual Governor’s Quiz competition, which showcased the talents of public school students across the state. The Lagos State Senior Model College in Badore emerged victorious in the senior category, while Vetland Junior Grammar School in Agege and Igbeyinadun Primary School in Mushin took top honors in the junior secondary and primary categories, respectively. Represented by the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Jamiu Alli-Balogun, Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed satisfaction with the notable improvements in the education sector, praising the achievements of the students and their teachers. He encouraged all participants to stay focused on their studies and promised ongoing support for their educational endeavors, emphasizing the state’s commitment to fostering a thriving learning environment.
