A revered traditional ruler in Imo State, HRH Eze Dr. Oliver Ohanweh (Obi Gburu Gburu), has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for granting an unconditional pardon to Dr. Fabian Ihekwueme (OMU) following their recent differences.

He noted that Governor Uzodimma’s decision reflects his Christian values and commitment to unity, urging all stakeholders to respect the leadership of the state and avoid actions that sow division.
A Commitment to Okigwe’s Development
Eze Ohanweh also commended key political and business leaders from Okigwe, including:
• Chief Cosmos Iwu, Secretary to the Imo State Government, for being a worthy ambassador of the zone.
• Chief Tony Chukwu (Onweghi Ihe Kariri Chineke), a respected political leader and business magnate, for his dedication to the region’s progress.

• Rt. Hon. Chike Olemgbe, Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, for being a dependable voice for the people.

The royal father urged continued support for Governor Uzodimma’s administration, highlighting his transformational infrastructure projects and human capacity development initiatives.
He also called on traditional rulers and religious leaders to continue praying for the governor, his family, and the state, describing him as a “workaholic administrative wizard” whose leadership is moving Imo State forward.
Eze Ohanweh emphasized the need for unity and love among Okigwe leaders, cautioning against bickering, jealousy, and political rivalry, which could hinder the region’s growth.
