Warri Urhobo APC Commends Tinubu, Gov. Oborevwori, and Key Leaders for Progressive Governance
The Warri Urhobo chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has passed a resounding vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and other political leaders for their commendable performance and dedication to the development of Delta State and Nigeria at large.
At an expanded meeting held in Warri South Local Government Area, hosted by Olorogun Bernard Okumagba, over 300 APC members convened to deliberate on the progress of governance and party unity. Leaders welcomed new members from the PDP and resolved that both old and new members must work harmoniously for the party’s success.
The meeting praised Governor Oborevwori for his transformational strides in infrastructure, commended Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas for his vibrant representation of Delta South in the National Assembly, and applauded Hon. Benson Obire for his impactful work in the Delta State House of Assembly.
The group also emphasized the need for equitable distribution of democratic dividends across the four major ethnic groups in Delta South — Ijaw, Isoko, Itsekiri, and Urhobo — urging all tiers of government to sustain inclusive development.
The gathering attracted notable figures such as Chief Isreal Abido, Chief Western Adehor, Chief Birinus Ojogri, Chief (Mrs.) Ann Iniovis, Rev. David Utofia, and many others, reinforcing the strong political will of the Warri Urhobo APC family.
